1987 Tempest 262 Cuddy

in Orillia, ON

$14,900

Seller note:

The Tempest 262 is a classic Ray Stoss Design, manufactured in Mississauga Ontario. The 262's most remarkable feature is it's advanced hull design and ride quality. Riding on a generous 9'6" beam hull with an aggressive deadrise and massive free-board, you'll find the ride is soft, stable and very dry. Combine the great ride quality with her deep and spacious cockpit, high windshield and full height canvas, the 262 would make an ideal Island Cottage commuter. Her original owner has kept her in a covered slip since 1988 and has spent thousands on upgrading the boat to current standards, (including a major refit in 2005 that included updates to the bottom, stringers, transom ane more). You'll find the teak accents are in excellent condition, as is the top and powertrain. The 262 offers tremendous value and is worth your time to inspect. The Tempest 262 an interesting comparison/alternative to the Thundercraft 260 Magnum, Doral 270 Monticello, and Cadorette 260.
